Dan's publisher, OCP Publications, proposed the idea of an anthology collection of his best known hymns and songs.  This compilation features music from the first fifteen years of Dan's work.  Many of these pieces are well-known and have been published in hymnals all over the world.  These are songs he composed during his time of collaboration with the St. Louis Jesuits.   In 2005, on the 30th anniversary of the writing of the well-known "Here I Am, Lord," a special "extra" track was added to this recording featuring a newly recorded version of Dan's hymn created specially for this occasion.
