Morning Light

The thirty year anniversary recording by the St. Louis Jesuits contains twelve new compositions from Bob Dufford, John Foley, Roc O'Connor and Dan Schutte. Tim Manion, who retired from the group in 1983, joined the others at the recording studio and added to the vocal and guitar tracks. The music continues in the St. Louis Jesuit tradition of beautiful melodies coupled with texts that inspire one. This new music exhibits a new maturity that comes from the passing of years and growing in one's craft.  Click on image to purchase.

St. Louis Jesuits: Thirty Years
This elegant, beautiful coffee table book is not simply a retrospective on the lives of these composers. Much more than that, it tells the story of their coming together, being inspired by the vision of St. Ignatius of Loyola and offering their gifts at the service of the Church in its time of renewal following the Second Vatican Council. Laid out in large 10x10.5 format, the 190 pages are beautifully arranged to tell the story in stunning color photos and text. The composers share their own reflections on their work, and many friends and peers add their own comments and reflections on the place of their music in their lives.  Click on image to purchase.
